As the lead on hotel and packages feature development at FlightHub, my main objective was to increase visibility and conversion for our hotels & packages features, without negatively impacting our core flight booking funnel.
To achieve this, I strategically introduced hotel and package entry points at every pivotal stage of the flight booking journey. The goal was to make these options visible, appealing, and contextually relevant, maximizing exposure while preserving a seamless flight booking experience.
Starting with the homepage
“Bundle & Save” Checkbox:
Placed prominently on our homepage form, where a large portion of users begin their booking journey.
Product Tabs with Promo Tags:
Visually highlighted packages in the navigation for increased discovery.
New Packages Carousel & input form:
Added dynamic content to the homepage to promote deals and simplify browsing. While making the input form more compact.
